Adjunct Assistant Professor of Biology

Biography

Dr. Adam Crego is an Associate Director in Brown University’s Biotechnology Master’s Program and an Adjunct Assistant Professor in the Division of Biology and Medicine. He brings cross-sector experience spanning biotechnology, drug discovery, neuroscience, applied AI/ML, and life sciences strategy. Prior to joining Brown, he served as Chief of Staff to the President and Chief Scientific Officer at Alloy Therapeutics, where he supported scientific strategy and execution across multiple therapeutic modalities and venture-backed company-building efforts. He later worked in life sciences intellectual property strategy at Choate, Hall & Stewart, and earlier in his career was a Senior Strategy Consultant at the Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory, where he also held an associate faculty appointment at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. Dr. Crego received his PhD in Psychological and Brain Sciences from Dartmouth College, his MS in Biotechnology from Johns Hopkins University, and his BS in Neuroscience and Biology from Brown University. Dr. Crego teaches BIOL 2370 Applied AI/ML in Biotechnology.
